Whether its anniversaries, birthdays, hens parties or corporate functions, our studio is ready to help create a memorable experience.

Private events details

  • Join us for a 2-hour private class, where we’ll walk you and your group through the basics of wheel throwing / hand building.

    Try your hand at being a potter, and at the end of your class select your favourite piece for the studio to trim, fire and glaze for you behind the scenes!

    Collect your piece at a later date, where in it will be functional and finished, and enjoy!

  • In a wheel throwing class, participants usually make around 2-4 pieces. At the end of the class you'll pick your favourite piece for the studio to complete behind the scenes and make food safe and durable. One piece is included in the cost of the workshop, and extras can be kept at $10/piece. Pots are ready to collect roughly 6-8 weeks after the date of your class.

  • We charge on a sliding scale:

    10+ Persons : $80pp

    8-9 Persons: $100pp

    6-7 Persons: $120pp

    4-5 Persons: $150pp

    1-3 Persons: $250pp

    Cost includes all materials and tools, a guided 2-hour private class, and the completion of 1 piece per person.

  • Our South Melbourne studio has 10 wheels, and a max capacity of 20 people. Our North Melbourne studio has 20 wheels, and a max capacity of 40 people.

    For groups larger than 10(SM)/20(NM) we recommend organising catering so people can mingle and alternate turns on the wheels. We do not have a BYO/catering surcharge, but do ask that any catering you bring be cold foods that are easy to pack away at the end of the day. You can organise to have your catering delivered to the studio prior to your arrival on the day, but do let us know so we may be there to receive it.
